Try going to firestone, tft, pep boys, or any other "chain" place. They all say noy just for liability reasons. They install your tire the tire fails you go back there like wtf and they say tough luck. Looks worse on them then if they just sed no in the first place.

pep boys is installing my tires that i didnt buy with them...yea i have a hook up on price but if it went against the stores policy he wouldnt do it. so pep boys does in fact do it. this will be the second location ive got it done at too, first one in Seekonk, and this ones in west warwick

reputable places wont, sure independant garages with a tire machine and balancer probably will however i dont know of indepedants with the right machines for doing low profile tires and aluminum wheels not to mention stick on weights.

There is a place near me that will mount and balance four tires for $50, including stick on weights. They will mount tires you supply and don't seem to be hacks either.

one by me that does the same only for 40 :-)

honestly, from what ive heard, the places that have walmarts that do it supposedly do good work. I originally was like HA fuck that, but i cant remember who now but they said they did a decent job.

as long as you dont fuck up the rim and it holds air right and is balanced properly, i dont see how you can be bad at it

This, when i was at school (going back this fall) i used to mount and balance tires of all shapes and sizes, and you would really have to pull a bone head move to mess up a rim. I had chrome rims on the 300m and never hurt em.

listening to my BOSS at the garage just after i started. i put a wheel on a MAX of 16" tire machine(old school with the pinch bar). this was a special edition F-150 wheel...... 17". so i proceded to do as instructed. and POP!! went the rim. So if your new or not paying attension or being instructed wrong. a rim can get fucked up anywere. ive seen guys AT tire/rim places like firestone fuck up peoples wheels. just trying to rush to get out on time or what have you can all have an effect on how well the job comes out. makes no difference were you go. its all Human error. not the machines being used. be nice if they made automated tire machines.
