My 4 year old son & I stopped by to visit David & Alex over the weekend at their 'new' place. All I can say is that this place is going to be awesome. The pictures don't do it justice. It's much cooler in person.

Dawg,

If my wife ever tells me she's pregnant again, I'll take a one-way ride with you....LOL.

Otherwise, I'm staying on the ground!

Jeff, Thanks for the Z/28 windshield dam materials and for visiting!!!

Alex always gets a huge kick out of getting to go in the Land Rover.

There are multiple projects all going on at the same time, but I've been working hard on getting the garage straightened out so a concrete floor can be poured.

before - dirt and brick floor setup for horses:

I'm hoping that one level concrete floor can go in within 2-3 weeks.

as of today- getting ready for horsepower:

I cut rough openings with my chain saw

I removed the stalls with a sledgehammer. My father-in-law and I cut the concrete dividers out and removed the sandy soil to get ready for gravel fill.

Thanks! It's slow going, but progress is being made.

Here's a pic from this morning. Another window was going in.

Work on the Money Pit continues.....

Both sets of steps were caving in because there is no foundation. It was just piles of rocks under a brick veneer.

There is a section of new kitchen cabinets going in but they're really screwed up. For the bottom ones, the length of these was too long and two inches had to be notched out of the post. This really made me upset. A post probably from around 1860 had to get hacked for a stupid cabinet and they didn't tell me about it before they cut into it. The top ones were screwed up even worse and had to be sent back.

Nobody liked my $40 post light that I bought at Lowe's. One of the contractors called it "the pimple on the elephant's ass". LOL. I've got to find a bigger light.
