I backed it up in my driveway and it wasn't easy. It took me a long time just to get it parked next to my shed.

I should get it registered soon, and then dig it out of the snow, and then start practicing.

I've been working on a sign for the Frank Maratta Auto Show. It's coming up soon in about 2.5 weeks.

I tried my best to remember everything that went into the car and hopefully I didn't forget anything major.

If I did anything that looks screwed up, please feel free to point it out....especially before the sign gets made.

Yep, the car kinda disappeared. HA!

The pictures were taken early before everyone started coming in. Just the exhibitors and setup people were there.

It was packed during most of the show hours, but there were times like early around 10 am and late after 9 pm when things died down.

I see, Its nice that you finally got some recognition with all the headaches you went through with that car.
It would be cool to send the previous owner the pics just to smear egg in his face!

Thanks Dawg. It was a lot of fun and I had never been part of an indoor show so it was pretty nice to be part of it.

I had a few emails back and forth with the previous owner over the years when he would ask about how the car was doing. I told him the car was going to be at the Maratta show and he attended on Sunday but I never saw him. He sent me an email that was 1/2 congratulations and 1/2 upset about a few of the things I mentioned in the book about the condition of the car when I bought it. Oh well.

Anyway, Alex had a great time at the show. Usually I have to drag him to shows, but this time he couldn't wait to go back a second day.

Nah....there are some real nice cars on this site and the Car Of The Month was a great way to get to check out all the pictures.

I took a break from house-stuff last Sunday and went to the Dream Ride in Farmington CT. There was about 2,000 motorcycle riders and about 150 cars as part of a small car show.

I got 2nd place in the American Cars 1950-1989 class and got to meet Wayne Carini of Chasing Classic Cars.
