Anyone interested in going up to the high speed trials this year in Loring Maine. I have been given the green light to run the GTM this year, be it a trail speed increasing with each run. A few of us going up looking to break 200. There will be three of us going up, 2 with GTM's and 1 with a SLC.

Got to love the fact that a Camaro goes that fast, thx for posting.

I have a large motorhome we could all climb into. It seats something like 9 or 10 people.

Edit....I just went out and counted 11 seats (not including beds) plus driver. $25.00 each for gas and a full stocked Frig. Anyone up to carpooling to some events?

Basicely anything over 135mph needs a proper roll cage, proper belts and driver need suit, gloves and helmet. If you are runing a turbo or supercharger the fire stuff needs to be rated to SFI 15 and if running nitrous you run in an alcohol class. This is a high level overview, there is much more "little stuff".

That's the catch, you need much more safety stuff for any given car than you would need to run it at the drag strip.
