32k mile short block out of a Corvette. Stock bottom end.

Whats the bearings look like? Kinda curious. The oil psi is a bit low but Ive never seen a motor go with that pressure still.

I say put a SBC in it lol, cheaper to build.

FWIW my warm oil pressure at idle with 10w30 is about 20 psi and mine runs like a champ. I can't imagine 40 psi is a problem.

ls1-lt1 ls1 needs a lot more oil pressure at idle then a classic sbc/lt1. oil pump o ring look ok?

Put in a new one at the time of assembly. Haven't even looked at the fucking thing. Just pulled connecting rod out of the oil pan. Might have something coming my way. Need to pull my motor back out first.
