Mr. Know it all is stumped. What's this world coming to?

There should be no question that it's warrentied. It was definitely slipping by the heat marks. Probably caused my the shit tick master but still there setup.
I could easilly get it warrentied but it wasn't bought threw us. |
ya well they are trying to stroke me on the fucking thing telling me all sorts of crap like its due to a error in install or because I cant drive shit every one hear has seen me run. I got how long out of the stock clutch fucking bull shit

How are you talking to them? I never have problems with warrenty's but talk to them nicely.
Install is #1 and the #1 problem when clutches fail. There is alot to do with installing a clutch right other than just bolting it down. There are measurements that have to be made and some adjustments that should be done.It sounds easy but we see a ton of failures due to installs. By the pics yours looks like extreme slipage. Could be a bad pressure plate, flywheel not bolted down flat or torque'd, or badly adjusted master cylinder. Right now the best clutch out there is the Mcleod RXT. |
don give me a call I have to jump on some thing. Going to take weeks to get this thing back even if they do warranty it. I have been very polite to them and patient offering any info they requested and photos. I even told them my exact launching and burn out procedure and they said that sounded fine. I torqued it down to there pattern in the torque sequence that they gave me in the intervals listed in the instructions. also cleaned the flanges. I was told by them that I did not have to check the slave depth so I did not. i used red lock tight on the bolts and I adjusted the master so it just had full disengagement about a 1/4 of the stroke from the floor. tick told me with the monster that is how it should be done. I have installed many clutches and this is the first one I have had that went bad I dont know what I could have done differently to prevent what had happened

im hoping its the pressure plate!!!!!

status on boomers clutch?
theyre still giving him a hard time on warranty.
damn that blows
That's such bullshit wtf is wrong with these manufactures what is it really going to cost them in the end
well after going through all the channels and then being a douch bag and dropping dons name on them and explaining to them that I know how to drive and telling them my install technique they finally hesitantly said they would send me a new one on good faith. the total issue was that they found some sort of residue on the back side of the clutch that could have been a tiny bit of oil from some thing and it could have contaminated it. of course as you can see my car dont leak so where the hell do they think this oil came from that you cant see in the photos :P. In the end though they did pull through and joe should be getting it at his shop this week. YAY IT MAY MAKE IT TO CENTERFOLDS
Awesome!!! Sucks that it takes pulling teeth though.
