Everybody wants the most power and a big lopey cam till they find out they drive like shit. You have to find the happy medium.

If it's an A4 car is has to have a good stall converter first.

Theres a brand new 383 for sale you could get for 5k he put over 7500 into the motor i have all the receipts for it and its brand new id like to buy it for some other project but have 3 projects going at once and cant handle it. If your interested i can give you all the info on it. It would be a beast and could take prob anything you could throw at it. Or like don said give him 5 grand and he will make a monster motor for you

Ya i said the same thing to the guy the list is crazy but it was like 7679 to be exact! WASTE OF MONEY i think. But i could get it off him prob 3500 or less he needs the money and it hasnt even been ran yet............yes everything included i think dart heads i gotta look at the list its on my desk at work. But also fast intake

My84Z 02-03-2012 10:56 PM

With heads i can see that cause i could spend alot on heads alone

Sounds right now with Dart heads. Problem is 383's pretty much suck. Not the right stroke/bore ratio. The 6.0 can make more power.

Just because you see a 383 make good power and run good doesn't mean it won't wear prematurly due to geometry.
