Id just use some new hard lines from the parts stores. Or you can do braided lines and some AN fittings. To do the gauges you can mount them inline with fittings for the senders. No need for a pressure gauge really, if it spikes or loses pressure the damage is already done IMO.

Why do you need new lines? Yeah you should do a trans temp gage rather than a trans pressure gage.

I left the stock lines on my car to the radiator then popped a pressure and temperature rated hose from rad exit to cooler then plugged the return line hose into the cooler.
powpow :klab:

Street car :)

I went from the trans straight to the cooler and back, but my cooler is rather large..

IIRC kevin, he said his were leaking or something.

The dingleberry who threw the braided lines in for the trans used hose clamps to tighten the connections. For the cooler ill just use the provided hardware with it, im using the B&M 70264.

The only reason I hit the cooler first is to heat it up and regulate the temp for the cold months.

I guess street car but damn I couldn't do a 3 speed in mine. If it was a once in a while cruise/strip car, yeah I'd rock that. I have a few TH350s and TH400s kicking around.
