i dont think its worth the cost. its better for sure. but unless your an intence road racer id stick with a pan hard setup. its not as bad as they make it out to be, all they try to do is make it sound like shit to sell the watts link.

the tq arm setup has been as fast as 6's its not that bad...
check out a company called mac, they do exhausts but they had a cheap diff cover i was gonna get |
Well, I suppose if I go 9" there's brackets to keep the torque arm. I do realize they work pretty good. Especially when you uncouple it from the trans mount to it's own crossmember that attaches to the subframe connectors ;) S&W makes a nice kit that works really well.
So, any idea what year range bronco had a 9" that's the right width? |

oo btw matt, check out currie, IIRC they sell a TQ arm mount to weld onto rear ends. MOSER or Strange wont sell you one of theirs seperately.
|
Quick Perfomance also sells the bracket. and early 80's i think Matt are the correct width. youll just need to get the moser housing ends for the big ford bearings and they also accept GM rwd brakes. including Lt1-LS1 discs
|
Hmm, does anyone make a torque arm bracket for something other than a 9"?
If I have to change housing ends anyhow maybe I'll use the 12 bolt out of the 68. Just put some ford ends on it and ditch the c clip eliminators. I need to break out a tape measure and start walking around the yard lol. |
you cant really make a torque arm bracket for a cast iron housing... the reason they make it for the 9" is you can weld it on to the mild steel housing.
|
Well, what do they use then on aftermarket 12 bolts and dana 60's? Or do they cast their own centers with the nounts in them?
