It'll be great to have this car done. I'm planning on driving it a lot and it should be a real fun car.

The car that's keeping me up nights though is the Z. I'm having a hard time figuring out details to make it close to the way it was.

For example, the underbody color. I just can't figure out how it was in 1969.

Yea that gotta drive you nuts just reading some of those articles you posted and what you explained later about it, man I can understand it lol.

Brake lines are in and bled. Doors are painted. Headliner is in.

Next up: Steering wheel column, wiring, doors back on, and glass

Mike said it should be 3 to 4 weeks until it's done.

One problem is that the repop bumper does not come close to fitting and he is going to send the original out to be rechromed. It could be about 6 to 8 weeks to get the bumper back.

Mike said that the original bumper fits perfect. I don't know if the repops are made by the thousands by the same Chinese outfit and different companies put their label on it for resale. This is the repop: http://www.heartbeatcitycamaro.com/s...op-Quality-69/

Probably better to rechrome the original.

the detail work is awesome.

Steering column is in. Doors are on. Remote filter is in. Headliner and headliner moldings are in.

Wiring is still on order. Rear bumper was sent out to be rechromed.

Fenders should be going on soon.
