yes going to be running up there..setup is poor mans setup at first..well not really i guess in some eyes..but put it this way ill have around 2k total in my motor,1k in trans and another 3k in car so im doing shit real cheap

u really think it will run the number on a 210 shot though? no offense man but it sounds iffy. im real interested to see the results. i have a good feeling 5.99 in the 1/8th will be competitive but not fast enough to win. in either case its a cool ass build man

car should be in the 5.70 range sorted out..remember im light as hell so i dont need a ton of power to get there..im figuring around 600 on motor and another 200 in juice should put me right around that with my 60s in the 1.20s
the 5.99 is the current lt1 short block record.he runs ported stockers,3100#s,180 shot on a delay with a mid 230/240 dur hyd roller. i know a ton of cars are stepping up and new ones are coming out..so ill probley be in the end of the quick 8 or in the front half of the 9-16 field with what i know is coming out and with the times ran this yr.Remember this is just a slap together fun junk motor..real motor will be the turbo deal with a 88/98 on it..The n2o one like i said is just have fun junk that is more to help me get the car sorted out an seat time in the car. |
i dn man i feel like a lot more effort will have to go into it to break a stout record like that one do u really think u can get 600hp out of the stock shortblock NA? but i would love to see your results either way. next year post up when u head to NED i will be sure to come up.
oh and btw the weight minimum for a nitrous smallblock in X275 at NED is 2950lbs |
