why do they have to weld chambers for an LT1 conversions

They have to convert the water passages.then they open up the water holes in the heads,put steam holes in the back,rearange the oil passage hole..so the deck an chambers get drilled on an welded on..ill post a pick of my lt1 conversion heads an a reg one..

been a bit..heres how the crack head sits..yes thats its offical name now because it eats money as if it was one..have most the stuff to get it back as a roller an long block completed.

Wish i could make it street legal..but to much lil shit i would need to do to jump threw the hops of mass's car laws..
I do know it will be fast for what it is..im guessing around 580hp on pump gas..car is real light also an.i still plan on putting a 1pc front clip on it.. Down the road ill grab a ls3 block an send my heads to be opened up along with swap to a better intake.bigger carb an solid roller |
