Do you ever get out to Marks Cruise night?

It has been a long winter and I am anxious for spring. If it wasn't for the salt on the roads, I would be out at night in the Stop & Shop parking lots doing donuts with the 68.

Also, it is great to have another 1st gen on the site!

David

CMON now David?
I never even seen ya chirp the tires yet lol
Me on the other hand will do burnouts at the spur of the moment lol.

Should be a hell of a car when you get it back though.

DAWG 03-01-2011 06:45 PM

WOW!!!
too bad you dont know where the previous owner lives!
we can pay him a visit.
Damn I really feel for ya David.
Are you sure this place you took the car to isnt telling you its bad and removing parts just to jack up the repair cost????

HA....I don't think the previous owner knew too much about the car when he traded his Porsche for it.

I don't think they are trying to jack up the cost because they have been showing me all panels that have an inch of bondo or more and the panels that have been double paneled. There were a lot of patches on the car that are all getting replaced. There was also a rear quarter that got hit in an accident and that section was a big mess. Add in a lot of rust that never got taken car of in over 40 years and you end up with a car in this condition.

Anyway....got any of that Wild Turkey left????? (LOL).
