Thanks man. Its a stock tranny with a Monster Stage 3 clutch. Second gear prob is going thats why it grinds just thought it was weird that the harder i launched the worse second was. Heres the run my sister was filming it and couldnt figure out the video but at least she got the launch. and i beat that car next to me with the slicks on it haha

Yeah well what happens is there so much twisting force and torque it takes its toll. My car when it was a m6 used to do the same thing just not the full grinding. I would come out at 6k and the shift to 2nd would be a little tough.

2nd gear is weak in the pre 2000 trannies. you have a new slave and master right?

Camaro9969 09-18-2011 06:07 PM

Yes new slave and master. When i bled it it definitely got better but was in no way a smooth shift haha. The first one I couldn't even get it into second. Ill bled it with better fluid next time see what happens.

It shifts great at high rpms unless I had a hard launch with the drag radials

Camaro9969 09-18-2011 06:22 PM

Here's the crash video haha

Camaro9969 09-18-2011 06:30 PM

I know i looked back and was like what the fuck? Haha that could of been worse. She totaled her dads nice Nova

ls6monte 09-18-2011 10:38 PM
