*LS1* Queen 06-09-2010 09:32 PM

Last of a Breed 06-10-2010 12:12 AM

My84Z 06-10-2010 01:06 AM

I am gonna guess there must be a reason probably blew the stocker. either way that car is sweet!

Navy01z 06-10-2010 01:49 AM

Pretty sweet fuckin car IMO.

84ta406 06-10-2010 02:10 AM

Damn even I wouldnt mod a 15th anny. car..

TBerry95z28 06-10-2010 02:19 AM

ugly imo but must rip with that ls1

DemonWithin99 06-10-2010 04:51 AM

not a fan of modding collector cars... if the original blew then an upgrade would have been needed, but keep it stock-ish. help it retain it's value.

Greenbird94ta 06-10-2010 05:23 AM

not a smart move.

Yeah but you either rebuild the original or look for the right date codes on a new(er) one.

My84Z 06-10-2010 01:25 PM

meh I think it's better now lol

agreed!!

DemonWithin99 06-10-2010 03:52 PM

better ... yes... smart (for the future re-sale of it)... no..

*LS1* Queen 06-10-2010 08:02 PM

if u want an ls1 go buy a damn 4th gen or put it in something that isnt worth something like that car lol

Spooky 06-10-2010 08:19 PM

I must be the only one who think that the mods actually helped the car. Collector car or not, its the wrong year and wrong styling to to be worth big money in the future.

Scott

bottledbird68 06-10-2010 08:43 PM

Eh, if it were an 89 turbo car I'd call him a dumbass but if you've ever lived with a carb'd 305 for any amount of time recently I'd say you'll agree he did that car a world of good lol.

BrokenFeather78 06-10-2010 09:13 PM

Yeah I had an 84 305 shitmaro (it was shit brown). That 305 is a soul sucker.

DemonWithin99 06-11-2010 08:03 AM

it's understandable to make that call in what to replace the stock power with... (just sayen though it isn't a strong year for collecting) it is a collector..

Eh, so is a yugo or a Le Car to some people. Still doesn't meen they'll ever be worth anything lol.

sciff5 06-12-2010 09:39 PM

guys its not a bugatti..

lets not get bent out of shape over its collectable status.. Plus your swapping in newer GM machinery so your keeping it in the family, kinda like a resto rod and for all practical purposes you've really made the car better.

considering their book value has gone from $3500 to $8000+ the last few years, I'd say they will be worth something

*LS1* Queen 06-14-2010 02:49 AM

people that arent into collectables just dont see things that way i guess...it may be sweet to some people but its ruined in others eyes. To me ive learned alot being around these cars and now kno better than people before us that had no clue their 69 camaro or 1le or rare optioned cars were gonna be worth big bucks someday. We are lucky that way. In the end people are gonna do what they want to their vehicles...its theirs...but to me personally that was a dumb decision. If i ever got my hands on an anniversary car or rare car in general i wouldnt touch it...cause more than likely its gonna keep increasing in value.
