Testing out some C5 z06 wheels tonight
 

Hey everyone! Got my oil and filter ready to change the oil tonight. While I have the car lifted, I'm gonna test fit on of my Gunmetal Grey C5 z06 wheels on my car. I'll post some pics on this thread tonight ;)

just rolled the wheel up next to the car real quick. will have better pics tonight

sorry not happening lol did the oil change but never took the wheels off cuz storms were coming. i got nothing to do tomorrow and it's gonna be nice out.

Thanks man and thanks everyone, even though this thread kinda ended up off topic like most of them do :p but it's okay. I was thinking chrome but I think these will look clean, especially once I get the SS hood and paint the manta the same color as the wheels

my buddys got a chrome set on his wifes 400rwhp h&c lt1. they look gooood

Actually your wheel/car color combo is somewhat similar to mine, which I have come to really like. And it's funny you mention the stripe, I had thought of maybe doing a stripe the same color as my wheels, I bet it will look badass.

Yeah dude I love that color combo I think it looks sweet. Chrome is nice, but it's a pain to keep clean and I think my car will look stealthy with the Gunmetal Grey wheels. I'm definitely doing that with the hood, I think it'll look nasty.

i def like the gunmetal better on ur type of color and they are easier to maintain than chrome

been fighting myself with gunmetal vs. chrome.. painful thought process.. lol

yeah I have chrome 20's on my truck and they are definitely a pain even though they look nice.

Tested out one of the wheels today. I think it looks good. It fits, but it's almost too wide and almost hits the wheels well. Here's the best pic I took:

theyll fit fine. its not uncommon to run those wheels

Okay good. That means I just gotta get some tires and I'll be good to put them on! I'm pumped, those wheels will completely change the look of the car for the better.

BTW they're 17x9 in the front and 18x10.5 in the back

Looks SICK!!!!! will off set the car Very nice. and you have a decent set of wheels left over to throw some Real tires on there and Race it!!!

P.S. if there Off of a Z06 you might have to roll the rear quarters. the back space is SLIGHTLY different then runnin an F-Body Z06 Replica.
