My Camaro is totalled. Wrecked it Sunday night. Hit a parked car. NO I WAS NOT DRUNK. I was on my way home and some jackass was lighting fireworks off in his front yard. One shot came flying across the hood of my car to which I cut it dead right and right into a parked car. I was knocked out on impact and memory is alittle hazy but i bit right thru my tongue splitting it into 2 pieces and busted up my jaw. Minor bums and bruises/black&blues and Im terribly sore. Thankfully no one else but me was hurt.

Now the car. Front passenger hit. bumper cover is tore off, fender is gone, tire is tore, all front pass suspension is destroyed, pass door is pushed, frame rail is pointing down where the tire used to be, headlight gone, turn gone, radiator support broken, fan broken, radiator cracked, fog light completely missing, battery cracked, coolant res broken, wheel well destroyed. And that is just what I saw today. I wont hear from my insurance company til tomorrow but Im not sure she can be saved. I wont have pics of her until at least Thursday but Im not sure if I actually want to take pics anyways.

So chances are Ill be stripping her down and parting it out. I should have some good parts for sale by the end of next week.

Thanks everyone. Tongue is infected so I spent yesterday in the hospital. Cant talk for a few days. My insurance company is dragging ass so I I havent heard anything on the car. As far as fault Im not sure. I wasnt ticketed or anything at the scene or at the hospital so IDK. Police report should be ready today.

Dude i hope it all works out. I'm really sorry to hear about all that shit. The insurance companies up here do take their time to but the one thing i have to say is that they generally come through and take care of everything pretty good.

Yeah they brought it upto my shop this am. You saw it Frank? Looks like shit didnt it. I finally got to really look at it. Il have pics tomorrow. Its done. I thought the passenger wheel was ok but it is shattered. The windshield is cracked, and the frame is bent bad enough that the pass kickpanel is pushed way in and the glove box wont close. We pulled all the stereo equipment out of it today and I pulled the SLP lid and filter. Adjuster should be here tomorrow to break the news that I already know and then its on to trying to get everything out of it. The Kooks headers, ypipe, and Magnaflow will be the first things out and the SLP CAI and LS6 intake. Then the cam, oil pump, thermostat and pcm. Ill probably save 3 of the wheels and the rotors. Fuckin sucks staring at her and knowing Ill never drive her again.

On a brighter note tho. Got a lead today on possibly picking up another one. Can anybody say SOM?

Saving the motor is all gonna depend on whether or not the insurance company lets me keep the car after they total it. OR how much they want for me to buy it back. All shit I have to findout. There is another one on CL Im looking at NBM but its been MODDED and we all know how that goes.
