Quabbin Reservoir cruise, round 2
 

Time to start planning and gauging interest for another Spring cruise around the Quabbin Reservoir. For anyone that didn't make it last year all the information is in the following link:

As far as a date I'm thinking early-mid May like last year would be best, if we do it earlier than that there may not even be leaves on the trees yet and the scenery wouldn't be that great. Plus it gives people time to get their cars ready. Anyone interested? Any suggestions?

Make it on a Sunday. And the later the better so I have a fighting chance of getting the 68 done. :)
If not then I'll take the z. Most likely going to reregister it tomorrow. Had it with the jeep, and the snow is almost melted enough to get it out lol.

Are there plenty of gas stations along the route? Will a gas guzzling 68 (350 small block) make it from station to station?

There are gas stations near each stop, I don't think you'd have a problem unless you get like 5 mpg

Cool. I am in unless something terrible happens (like no grandma wants to take Dennis the Menace).

I think I am getting about 12-15 mpg.

Update....sorry, but I just saw that May 8th is Mothers Day. I am out, but will be praying for rain so that I can make the rain date.

I'll have to talk to the mothers in my life and see if the first date is ok :)

I keep forgetting that May 8th is mother's day. Let's push it back a week, May 15th with a rain date of May 22nd.
