Why cant Mass fix stuff this quick?
 

I have to wait till probably mid summer for the workers in my town to fix the potholes in my street, and who knows how long for the state to fix the 495 fail-bridge into Haverhill, while the Japanese can pull shit like this off:

Honestly, mass sucks with their roads and the reason the Japanese can do that is because they are Japanese, ARGUABLY the most technologically advanced country in the world. Not putting down America but its true, the Japanese are amazing

lol well even if it wasn't 6 days it happened what 2 weeks ago? So even if it took 2 weeks max thats still fast as hell. That road looked like some chocolate/peanut butter dessert platter from Fridays before...

I agree theres a very good chance it was altered or this picture was taken at a different time but to be fair the signs, placement of the trees and radio towers seem to be in the exact same place. However, a hug earthquake causes the road to collapse in on itself, you're telling me that thourghout all that the trees and towers stayed in the exact same place? One last thing to remember is that Japan builds their structures to withstand earthquakes. Like their houses aren't made with as many 2x4's as a frame houses of the US they use a stronger grade of wood without using any insulation, so the body of the house absorbs the vibration it'self and it makes it easy to rebuild. Which is one reason that they got leveled so easily by the tsunami while they will recover much faster that you think. So who is to day they didn't construct their roads for with the same ease of reconstruction in mind?
