EFI Intake
Question? with all this converting carb in takes to use EFI on the LS1's and some LT1's. i see alot cutting and fabricating of the car cowl etc. Now why cant you use a super vic a 4bbl throttle body and a classic turbo/supercharger Hat? would it fit has anyone seen this done or tried and it didnt work?

i know on the LS cars you still need to cut the cowl to get it to fit but if you go with a low elbow like don did you can get away with it most of the time. I wish they would make the rpm air gap for the ls1 in a efi then get some one to test it against the ls6
Pretty sure the LS6 will stay lay a wuppin on it everywhere but peak HP, The LS6 is a very, very good intake until you get to big mods that it is just too small for. Plus if cost is an issue it will be no contest.
i dont give a shit about LS6 Intakes!!! LT1!!! LT1!!!!!! Dammit!! will it fit? id rather not spend an extra 400 on this shit and have it not fit under my hood and cowl....
haha!
Cut a hole in you're hood! lol jk
What intake do you plan to use? A super victor is 1" taller than a Victor jr. so thats one thing to remember. If you want I can tell you how tall my victor jr. is with a throttle body like that. I'll measure from the top of the china wall to the top of the carb base plate I have sitting on top.
Yeah if you could do that then i can measure roughly how much i can have sitting on top of it before it runs inot my firewall/cowl. I wish Don would give me his 2 cents Dammit!!
you will have to cut the cowl and it won't fit under your hood if you use a carb style tb

X2, it will never make it with a victor, and Don will tell you to buy an LS1 |
I hate to say it but if you leave those heads and change the intake you are a ass.
I hate to say it but YOU ARE AN ASS anyway
Screw you!!! you hate to say it... my ass!!! And your right John. this would be first AFTER the car is finished suspension wise. But im planning future mods if i could set it up before i get new heads to get the most out of them. But after talking to Advanced Induction for about a half hour. intake is not the issue anyway. they have made 500+rwhp on a untouched intake. Wich means ill be doing heads and Then going from there. thinking of the new 21* Trick Flow 210cc Heads.
shit mike some day you may be able to catch ron in his sled LOL
22* heads would be good just make sure there isn't too much involved with going to them. also cocksucker i told u the lt1 intake was fine and i seen it make 900 hp sorry if i am not a viable source u cock
hey man wen i hear ity from the guys who run the fastest NA LT1's in the country. Then i listen up untill that point its hear say. No offence! ASS!! and i dunno i think im gunna nix the whole idea. Get the car setup to handle more power before i make more. the car is FAR from ready for even what it makes now.
fine so noone should offer you advice cause unless we have something special our oppinions mean squat...
Nope just your opinion!!!!
Wow that shut u up??? Damn that wasnt as hard as i thought......

that's not the vien cars have radiator overflows he has a giz overflow. He just swallows to much.
Yesssss hahahahahhaa Love it!!!! so as far as info on if this will fit under a hood and cowl. im gunna go with No.
The Victor Jr. carb manifold I have (#2975) sits 4.58" in height. The Carb throttle plate I have is just over 1"
IT WILL NOT FIT WITH JUST A 4BRL TB YOU HAVE TO USE A ELBOW then it will fit just tight
alright and thats a regular vic not a super vic? and the throttle plate you have i se is basically the bottom half of a holley? i think that force fi TB is about 3" in height.
Yes thats a regular victor jr. add another 1" for a super victor. The base I measured is the red throttle plate you see in my nitrous thread
Just saw this on ebay.. dunno how good it is though.. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Custo...item41460f0186
WOW that actually looks to be good qaulity. my only question it the first 2 cylinders might be starved for air? with just the cliff drop off into the intake.
I dunno really since the air would hafta bend pretty good to get to the front runners of the intake but since it mates flat like a carb I could be wrong.
