good luck finding a person. I would suggest just going and getting your dealer liscense it comes in handy esp for someone who buys/sells a lot of cars!

back in the day when my dad owned his own shop we used to go to auctions and I think you dont need to have a license etc. but you need to pay either cash or credit card.
I dunno if the rules have changed though. call these guys to get the full scoop http://www.centralaa.com/contactus.php |

As far as auctions go, most of the public days are considered GSA auctions... AKA Gov't sale, vehicles etc. To goto a regular auction day you need a lic to get in. Some local dealers will allow you to goto the auction with them. Usually mom and pop ones... I am at the auction alot weekly actually ( I haul cars) There is some good deals and some bad ones. I do have access to manhiems online auctions (viewing only) Within the next year or 2 I plan getting my lic to go in. I want to open my own business with car hauling and then buying and selling cars for fun. There is a friend of mine who can goto the auction all i can say is hit him up and see if you can work something out. His name is Tom....

http://www.hsacauction.com/ I thought they had monthly auctions, but it looks like their not listing anything ATM. I used to go to the one in Windsor/South Windsor CT every once in while years ago. And if you've got the Cash there are good deals to be had, but it's important to go for the inspection period first, to look over the cars you're interested in prior to them 'running the lanes' |
