BTW 941LE, I never said my times were impressive.
I only showed what I, a shitty track driver, could do with a stock LS1 & just an exhaust.

It took me 4 runs that day to learn my car & finally get out of the low 13's.
4 more runs & learning how launch better & to shift faster, I may have hit mid to low 12's as I remember my 60's were in the 2.0 range that day with my best being a 1.999.

A better driver would have fared MUCH better.

Pizza think about it as something to grow into and that you can get a real motor to put into it lol

Come on guys why the hell are we fighting over two engines made by GM? They are both marvelous peices of machinery, and we all know that the LS1 is definitely more advanced, AND has more capabilities than its predecessor. However, each one has its strengths and weaknesses over the other. We should be talking about how much our GM 5.7L MONSTERS poop on Mustang toys!!! (and SRT-4's for me, the slow guy). Shit like this makes the hobby and scene of racing/building NOT FUN. Did big block owners in the early 70's shit on small block owners because "their small block is turd compared to their big block?" No! It was more of a hobby back then instead of a competition of seeing who is the best and coolest, which is what it is getting like these days. This shit will forever go on! It's just like when the L98's came out in the 80's, they were better than the crossfire's. Then the LT1's came out and they were better than the L98's. It's neverending and it is funny how some people get so worked up over it. I thought my 408 was decent(good low end torque, decent power). That engine had it's problems and I wanted to get rid of it. I was going to go the LT1 route but I personally didn't care for the optispark setup. That's just my opinion. I went with the LS6 because of the good power, reliability, economy and easy to hop up. I love my Ls but their are many people who love their L98's, LT1's and even their older carbed motors. To each their own is what it comes down too!

it is a Formy. Its in Great Shape. its was originally from maryland area wich is why the floors are nice. couple small things here and there. depending on money after a tranny build and tune i May or may not have the outside finished for next season But as it sits with a bath and some wax its 1000000000 times better then my car. and im buying it for 1000. wich is a shit load less then what id have to put into mine to do it right and have it end up in the shape this is as of now. and If i dont like it say i feel i want something different or anything. i can throw a tranny in it(no reverse may just be a solenoid) and sell it for more then i paid. BUT as of right now Joe Sicks-O brought up my down payment for the car ill have it at Joes shop in 2 weeks ill take a lot of pics and post them up then. BUTTTTT IM PSYCHED!!!! finally a decent car to start with. no more rubix cube bullshit!!!!!

ya the car is in really good shape over all for the price i went and looked at it thursday the guy was like fuck it tell him he can have it for 1000. It needs some work but over all its nice. Hay pizza you know the guy that's selling it owns a body shop LOL
