I agree its way to high, but, if you wanted a NEW firebird, your options are limited. lol

Someone will def buy this, and for that price.

DemonWithin99 04-11-2012 03:53 PM

yep, someone will buy it at that price. I wouldn't spend more than $20 on it myself and that's based on the miles kbb dealer price has it set at $18,800. so they are clearly high and expect to make $10k on a 10yr old car.

and if you notice the dash shot the engine light is on.

LOL Yea but if you wanna go by that I have low coolant and oil :zfreie:

holokosta 04-11-2012 04:11 PM

I noticed that haha I think it's because The key is just turned to ignition but the engine isn't running.

BadBird505 04-11-2012 04:16 PM

way to much money. the car wasn't much more brand new. they might get lucky and get book value.

941LE 04-11-2012 06:18 PM

ill sell ya mine for 28k

KB93z28 04-11-2012 08:42 PM

Every single female that works in that dealership could blow me, and I STILL wouldnt pay 28,000 for the car, no way, no how.

941LE 04-11-2012 09:21 PM

What about going ass to mouth?

Just noticed that as well, and yeah it's definitely running, oil pressure and tach are up...not bad, $29k for a 10 yr old bird with 12k on it with the check engine light...who the f--k am i kidding, should ask em for some of that sh-t they are smoking! can easily make a killing off of that alone lol

Formula413 04-11-2012 11:54 PM

DemonWithin99 04-12-2012 05:05 AM

http://boston.craigslist.org/nos/ctd/2955721671.html

Ok at least this is some sort of special edition but still... 30g´s??

holokosta 04-16-2012 04:24 AM

Well 699 miles. Maybe worth it?

Formula413 04-16-2012 12:35 PM

Yeah with those miles I could see it, it basically is a brand new car. Be nice if it was M6 though.

quik95lt1 04-16-2012 12:42 PM

must be that one with the gold plated engine lol

KB93z28 04-16-2012 08:41 PM

I still woudnt pay 30g's for that anniversary camaro, just not worth it for me

ZFreie 04-16-2012 08:59 PM

I personally wouldnt spend over 6 to 8k for a fbody, no matter how nice, for not much more money you can be driving around in a used vette....

505Bird 04-17-2012 03:56 AM

It's not like its a TA or a firehawk... even then $28k is way to much

holokosta 04-17-2012 04:08 AM

i think a lot of the times dealers think they have you by the balls on the sheer fact that they can finance rather than a private seller who desires cash in hand....

based on that fact maybe they feel like they can just jack the price?

ILuvPizzaTimes10 04-17-2012 03:56 PM

You try and go finance that car! 3 year loan only! So your talking over 500 a month to drive an f bucket!

If you add everything up that's probably about what you spend :p :haha:

He's talking about the other one I posted

941LE 04-17-2012 09:46 PM

that the second one ive seen in person being in Simon Chevy. Probably 15 mins from me. Car is mint obviously with only 700 miles on it. No way worth the 30k though. If he was selling it for 19/20 i think they would be able to sell it. Unless they are marking it up so high knowing that they will be low balled.

holokosta 04-18-2012 01:09 AM

Ha probably exactly what they're doing. I'm sure it's beautiful though no doubt about that.

Kalstar 04-18-2012 01:50 AM

I say it is worth it, last of the breed, vert, 700 miles, right color, true SS. Buy it, make it a garage queen, drive it 5k miles a year, sell it with 25K on the clock after 5 years for around 12k ish. So for around $2500.00 per year you get to drive a cool new/old car.

Some one will offer 25K and get a great car.

DemonWithin99 04-18-2012 02:06 AM

sorry we all know that a car that sits for too long will likely need work after you drive it for a few hundred (or thousand) miles garage queen or not a car was built to be driven.
