Race Seats

Whats your favorite/preference on race seats?

I'm possibly looking for something comfortable and cheap (if thats possible) :Superman:

Those aren't bad! My problem to be honest (you men don't have to worry about it) the current seats I have aren't that comfortable due to the humps by my hips, my hips are big hahhahaha I admit it :) so I'm not sure if those would be the same way

My84Z 07-16-2012 12:54 PM

The 6le's are the same as what we have

I've got my old black cloth APC race seats that I took out. There not too bad as far as comfort goes but I do prefer my Trans am seats over these

Do you still have those MRC seats that I sold to you? Or are you talking about the stockers.

Seats are a really tough subj. I'd REALLY like to get a good racing seat in, but unless you are under 5 foot 8 a lot of seats just sit too high. Pinning your knees under the steering wheel. It would be nice to have something that keeps me stable around turns so I don't have to use the steering wheel to hold me still.. causing it to be very difficult to control a slide.

Tons of people on frrax have to customize the seat brackets to gain more clearance.

Mrc's are in her car my car has kirkeys. Luckily we are definately under 5'8" lol

those seats have low sides in the hip area but are taller near the thigh area.
look at the pics.
other than that then maybe a bench seat?????

Bowtie Babe 07-17-2012 10:47 PM

Bench seat!! HAHAH sounds good.... i think i need to save for the cage and leave the little extra's for later, just was looking to see what was out there.... hopefully i can get my ass to shrink a little and the problem will be solved HAHA

Yah i def don't have the problem of being over 5'8 now if we were talking 4'8 :)
