My moments...
 

Ok so instead of making several threads all detailing my encounters within the confines of the car, I'll just make one and add to it as I go. God only knows there is going to be plenty of these with driving an hour each way to and from work and in prime travel times as well to boot.

Ok so the story of the 'stang has been told, now I've had my first VW encounter here either Wednesday or Thursday, can't remember, but I know it's the day it didn't rain between the two. Working too much has screwed my brain here hahah. Been too busy otherwise I would have posted it earlier.

Ok so I get off 495 north and hop onto 290 west coming home from work. Some tool in front of me is doing like 30mph through the ramp and I gotta sit behind him. It sucks being behind somebody like that, so after getting off the ramp, I give it some gas, get past him and a few others then jump back into the center lane. I keep on going in the lane here past the Solomon Pond mall exit and about 2 mins down the road some dude in a dark blue 2001ish Jetta with CT plates on it rolls up next to me. I can hear the blowoff valve as he comes up on my left and lets off the gas. He rolls up again and I can hear it once more. Obviously he's got something under the hood worthwhile looking at, but I just look over and laugh at him. I tell him I don't have time to make you look bad and besides if you haven't noticed there is a lot of traffic. He laughs so I drop into 5th, now I've got his attention and roll down to about 60, slap it into 4th and hit it (thank god for asr lol). Ran only about 40-50 yards and let off it, already pushing about 80mph in 4th, slap into 5th and then 6th, brake and wait for him to catch up. He rolls up next to me and gives a thumbs up and said nice car man. Said the same to him and he drops a gear, spools up and took off. His ride was nice, wish we had some open road though. Now while all this was happening, some younger kid in a miata was behind us and well... :sFun_rofl: enough said

That's funny because i raced a kid in a blue jetta, loud bov, moderate exhaust, on 290 right before the mall exit... i wonder if its the same kid.

Very likely it was. Bov was loud for sure. Kid has ct plates on it. Funniest part was the miata behind us lol. Would like to see him again sometime outside of rush hour.

How about that time you were running that mustang down on the pike jay? haha that was funny, your front bumper was practically kissing his rear bumper as you were feathering the throttle lol

If its the same kid i don't think it will put up much of a fight lol we did a dig at one of the stop lights off a exit and buy the time i was at the top of 2nd i was already 3 cars in front of him, just rolling off idle.

haha, sweet! yeah too easy then, i'd rather give a go at something that'd put up more of a fight than a wet paper bag

Ok so on the way home today about exit 20 on 495 had some kid in a dark blue or black Jetta TDI pull up behind me in the middle lane and he kicks out hard in the left lane and passes me doing about 70. I laughed hard, like really hard enough for him to hear me because he checked a rev and it sounded like the damn car swallowed a hive of sweat bee's. So being bored and not much traffic around, I drop a gear put the foot down a bit and catch up to him quick. Kid ducks back into the middle lane and then jumps into the far right lane. Naturally seeing him jump lanes like this, I look up expecting to see a statie and nope, nothing. Just some kid trying to act tough in a rumble bumble can of kraut. Too bad, I wanted to see how annoying his exhaust could've gotten...

What time do you head back up 495 I travel that way sometimes and i have never seen you lol

I get out around 3:30 and usually hop off 495 onto 290 around 4-4:15 depending on the volume of traffic.

I do see a few heading back southbound on my way home, they're heading the wrong way tho.

Oh that's why I don't get on till 420 and I'm getting on at 95

Little laugh from yesterday night.

Was on my way home from the Solomon Pond Mall and had to drop off a movie at a Redbox location. Knew there was one at Shaws in White City (Shrewsbury). Dropped off the movie and jumped back on Rte 9 heading across the bridge back into Worcester. Got across the bridge and crossed over Lake Ave in Worcester and some jackhole in this little toyota with a tricked out exhaust (which sounded like a bumblebee trapped in a coffee can) pulls up to me and checks a rev. I just couldn't help myself but to laugh at him loudly enough so he could hear me. Guessing he didn't like it so rev'd it again and the little prick swerves at my car. So me being me and having road rage issues, I drop the car into 2nd from 4th and hit the pedal about halfway down. Car jumped to like 3500, tires gave a little chirp and when she hooked the front lifted pretty good. It scared the holy living shit out of the kid in the car messing around. Maybe he thought I had a V6? Anyways it was a fun little laugh.

there's a redbox outside of the walgreens before shaws on Rt9 lol that would probably be easier to fly in and drop it off there than shaws... Yeah a TONS of ricers around there. I remember i was waiting in the moe's parking lot for someone one friday night and i counted 30 ricers going through the intersection in about 10 minutes haha.

Yeah, all the little kids in Shrewsbury and Worcester with them kill me. They're all the same most of the times. See a car that's got an exhaust on it and they want a piece of it. Makes me laugh more than anything. Was going to hit Walgreens but jumped off at exit 22 and just rolled across the light on north lake ave towards shaws instead of backtracking down towards walgreens.

Yeah I know most of the kids down at white city. they always tell me to do a burnout...

Ok here's a funny one for everybody. Going home Thursday night as I am getting onto 495NB from Exit 9 (Taunton/Holiday Inn area). Some kid in a tan Nissan Sentra with all this Type R badge shit all over it pulls up to me on my left side. There are 2 turn lanes that merge into 1 on the on ramp from the light. So this kid pulls up on my left and checks a few revs and gives me this look like he is serious. So we're sitting at the light and he keeps on giving it some throttle. I let him take off about maybe 100-150 yards in front of me on the ramp and then I get serious. I hammer down about 3/4 of the throttle and catch up to him in no time flat. Think he shit himself because I caught him before he actually got off the ramp and stayed in that right lane after we got on 495. Maybe he thought I had a V6? I mean really, what posses these kids to think something like that? Oh well, still waiting on something worthwhile to catch up to me running down the road.
