Hi guys, just another dude who spends too much time with his camaro. I used to check the ctfbody site from time to time to see about any meet ups or cruises and it seems everyone has switched to this site. Glad to be back with the proper villains again.

My best guess is that the problem is not just the people in charge. On CTFBA the majority of the forum members were not active. Every post could go weeks without any response at all.

On this site, just about any post will get a bunch of replys. Some will say nice things and some might tell you to go eff yourself, but at least people will say something!!!

And that is why NEFBA rules.

Yeah I don't know why everyone drifted away from that site, it was the first F-Body club I joined and had regular meets at the time. We had at least one joint meet with them and it was a great time.

I own a 1999 Chevy Camaro Z28, blk w/tan leather int. 6 speed, sony cd w/ cdt component 6 1/2's, audiopipe 8" mid bass drivers and jvc sail panel speakers all using factory amp. pro 5.0 shifter, slp lid, 85mm throttlebody, bbk ssi intake manifold, slp long tube headers w/cats and loudmouth exh, msd wires, predator prog, bmr weld in subframe connectors, hotchkis panhard rod and trailing arms, slp bilstein revalved shocks/struts w/ strano springs, brembo blank rotors w/ hawk hps pads, 18x9f and 18x10r ROH drift-r rims w/ toyo proxes t1r rubber. RS body kit w/ 3 piece spoiler and functional ram air hood and new black halo headlamps.

I met you at one of the CTFBA meets at Guido's! Car sounded nasty if I remember right.

Dawg, you for some reason LOVE to bash the CTFBA staff, I never understood that personally...

I only ever saw you at 2 events that I can remember, I never remember seeing you at a dyno day, poker runs, dinners out on the pike, etc....

You like many others would not participate in an event if it was not local to you... the club members were scattered and all over the CT & MA area and it was always hard to get the perfect spot, especially after MBA closed and that was like back in 2003...

Suggestions were always asked for yet nobody ever wanted to help set up anything... And when things were set up it was the same folks at the events, and the folks complaining were NOT even showing up to these events, yet they would bitch we never do any meets...

When we moved the meets to Guido's which was a great spot and we had alot of guys from this site there, YET AGAIN I never saw you there...just sayin...:ahhhhhhh:

The site participation really slowed down for some reason, people's life priorities change, and there are so many car websites its hard to be on all of them....

I miss the big events and the friends I have made on that site.

You had a beautiful red WS6. Do you still have it?

I checked the ctfba site and I think it's pretty much shut down. Regardless, you should post up more here! There are some real nice folks on this site and there is a Quabbin Cruise every year that Alex/Formula413 (who was also on ctfba like both of us) organizes every year.

We probably won't be having any more cruises this year but we might have some other get togethers. We do the Quabbin cruise every year in mid May.

Nice! Man, that is one beautiful car! I took my wife to Muscle Car City in Florida and the only car she really liked was the WS6 they had there. They had EVERY year vette, chevelle, nova, impala, camaro, etc. etc. etc. and she only liked the WS6.

The Quabbin Cruise is always great. You should post up with updates and info on your car.
