Hub Center Bore
Correct me if im wrong but is the center bore on a 2000 camaro 70.3mm. And isnt it just a tad bigger in the rears. Im looking to get some new rims from american racing and it says its center bore is 72.60 with a 45mm offset. On the website it says this would fit camaro's but i dont know if it needs an adapter hub ring.
Im looking to get the 17x9 ones in anthracite. http://www.amazon.com/American-Racin...1&s=automotive Or maybe the chrome ones idk yet. |
My tt2's fit perfect many people use m's if it says for fbody it will fit fine

Ls1 center hub flange is smaller then lt1. And it is about 72 on the lt1 so yeah those wheels will fit.
|
^ true my C6 wheels are the LS1 bore 70.3 and I opened them up just a little bit to fit over THE REAR LT1 hubs because they are bigger. The fronts went on fine with my LT1 bore and after the LS1 brake / hub / spindle swap.

Yea i will prob end up getting them. Im buying them with a tire package and it says i can use 275 tires in the front. I have 265's in the front now and it says the 275's will fit. Hoping there should be no problem.`

There shouldnt be any wheel vibration from the wheel bore being just a hair bigger?

That's what the tapper on the lug nuts are for. The ceneter bore is more for rotor center then wheel center.

Yeah the lug nuts kinda home them in on center huh. Thats the beauty of the tapered. Do any wheels use flat nuts any more? the AR wheels on my step dads are flat nuts, so its a lug nut with a washer. Pretty silly

the fords run flats on the f150's. if they still do? i dunno but they SUCK!!!
