Wet photo shoot of the silver z "Pacific Mills"
After years of having this car I always wanted to have some nice pics taken other than the usual camera phone pics. I finally have more time and got the car mostly how I want it to look with the exception of a few small changes planned for the winter. My buddy santa has been getting into photography as a hobby lately and wanted to take some of my car. So here you go, background is the industrial Pacific Mill in my hometown area in Lawrence MA, a rainy, cold night out on the streets with his waterproof camera at 1AM and people looking at us like we were crazy.

But for now these make me happy :3 |
Awesome pics! The 2nd one is my favorite.
If your buddy is just getting into photography, he is off to a GREAT start! |
Yeah he has some talent with it for sure, these new digital SLR cameras have a much steeper learning curve. You can review the photos as your shooting, so we could just see the quality getting better and better after just a few shoots.
I cant decide which is my favorite but I like the 2nd one a lot with the sign in the background. I love it down there, so much history. |
Looks great man. Love seeing good quality photoshoots done

Thanks guys, its come a long way from the start, time to make some more power hehee :klab:
|
I need to bring my car out and have your friend shoot mine. I would pay money for photos like yours.
|
Klab, just buy a drag car and leave yours the way it is. I really can't remember seeing a cleaner lt1 thats a driver and not just a show car.
|
Thanks guys, its gonna stay a street car for sure. Thinking 24x and cam, maybe ported heads. Mid - low 11 sec street car. Just gotta do up the engine bay, its gross under the hood lol. I'd like to do the LS1 dash / ebony swap with the 24x swap so its just an LT1 controlled by a newer system, its really tough to t decide with how mint my interior is, but its ugly light grey ;(
|
no cam, just leave it be, its more impressive as a mid 12 full weight bolt on lt1!
just build an ls if your gonna go heads and cam, it would be silly not to i feel, extra 100 hp lol |
enough with the stupid 24x bullshit. haha

It should be low 12s if I keep it bolt on only and do the few more things I have in mind. :klab: |
Great shots, makes me want an SLR

Or just buy mine and chop it up however you like

bump, i like how your tail lights are totally blacked out. I want to put a light tint on my taillights similar to yours. Can you tell me the products and the steps you used?
|
Thanks man. They're not totally blacked out tho.. I taped off the reverse light section and sprayed some black / clear mix I forget the mixture (you can use the VHT nite shades stuff from advance auto), then clear coat after taking the tape off. I did this way back, it seems to have faded since then. I want to re-do them. Here is in ~2009 when I did them haha
