I really like this show. No trophies. Just car folks hanging out and having a good time.

I have to see if my buddy is going this year with his 69 Firebird - but we went last year and it's a good show.

Hopefully I can make this one!!!

My father-in-law has been good friends, 40-50 years, with the guy that runs the show for the New Hartford volunteer fire department.

Anyway....this year I told my father-in-law that I was thinking about bringing the Z and he seemed pretty happy about that, so into the trailer it goes.

I just found out that the address has been changed for the show this year. It used to be held at the former Waring plant.

The new address for the show is:

37 Greenwoods Road
New Hartford, CT 06057

I was told they changed it so they would not have to hire two police officers for Route 44 and that the new location is a little larger.

I would hope they just put a sign up and have some folks standing by to direct people to the proper spot - it's only about 2 miles down the road - so I doubt it will be that big of deal:sFi_snowfight:

Cool, I hope to have my exhaust all welded up today!

I won't be able to make this show guys. I'm working tomorrow. I'll try to make the show next weekend at the junior republic.

yeah same here Sorry.
the exhaust is not finished yet.
guy doing the welding got cut and took the rest of the day off.
But I might show up as a spectator instead.

Yeah - Don't think I'm going to make it this year:
A) Dealing with an ill cat that needs attention every few hours
B) Tired from a drive to NJ and back to drop off the scooby for a suspension/brake overhaul
C) Forgot to call my buddy to even see if he was going

I know excuses excuses....:smack: Enjoy though it's a fun show for a good cause!:gears:

The weather turned out great today. I was surprised it was so warm out.

What an awesome day!!! It was a beautiful out and there were over 300 cars.

I got to have dinner with Mike O'Brien, Connie, Chris, and the New Hartford volunteer fire department.
