the brake line saga continues
ok, so I was using my impact wrench to remove the last two remaining flare nuts from the rear brake splitter or whatever the hell it's called. I had to unscrew it from the rear end to get to the flare nuts and was bracing it in a "diesel" set of pliers my father bought me a ways back.... While I had the trigger fully depressed, the pliers snapped....like broke in two, idk how. The impact wrench then completely stripped the nut and twisted the brake hose that goes from the brake splitter to the main brake line that continues toward the front of the car....Any ideas? I'm thinking I need to replace everything all the way up to the front now lol

I'm seriously tempted to do the pizza technique and crimp the line with a vice grip just so I have a car I can drive lol

Thats NOT WHAT I DO!!!!! hahahaha Fuckers!!!! DO NOT DO THAT!!!!! BAD BADDDD DONKEY!! Imapct Gun?!?! on Brake Lines?!?!?! Not very good idea just for future reference. now goto advance or AZ and rent a double flaring kit. cut the line that goes to the front opf the car back to were it has some good non rusted material. flare it. use a Union. and run a new line to the brake hose.

I couldn't get it to budge with a standard wrench! I told you these things were frozen! And yes! Looking back on it, it was a bad idea! Like...A really bad idea! Oh and btw there is no way I ca reuse that brake hose, it is so incredibly rusted. So does anyone know where I can get another hose?
