Rear end swap

Is there a few pictures on here of someone whose just changed out a stock rear with another one? Doesn't seem too hard just haven't done it before. Is it a pain in the ass???

It's easy and straight forward just try and remember the few brackets and bolts you take off to put on the other. Just take your time and it'll be easy

its not hard, pretty straight forward. youll need to have the bearings pressed on the axles, but you have to put your backing plates on the axles first. id put the 3rd member on the housing before putting the housing in the car. i used a gasket on mine with sealer on both sides and it doesnt leak. put the springs in, raise the housing up. use the shocks to hang the housing then connect the LCAs, Torque Arm, PHB.

Why would I have to put the axles in? Just another 10 bolt fully assembled. Were you thinking the guts???

thought you were putting in a 9 inch!

That is my winter project I got this rear for free with 410s in it i figured why not throw it in. I just bought a s91 Turbo for my 6 litre motor for the project it will definitely need that 9"
