Headlights won't open

The car keeps coming up with dumb shit to throw at me. Now the headlights won't open. No grinding gears, lights turn on ok, doors don't open. They will shut if I open them manually though. Is this a problem with that little box behind the driver's side headlight?

If it was the switch wouldn't the lights be off too though? The lights turn on, they just don't flip up.

def sounds like the module (went through 2 of them in my 94) and helped many others fix the same thing.

I dunno, never had it happen on a 4th Gen, but on a 3rd gen you could have the lights on and down and it was normally the switch. Although honestly the module may be in the switch assembly on a 3rd gen. Try the free parts see what happens

I pulled the module out, opened it up and re-soldered the contacts for the connectors, and it's working fine now. I took it for a spin last night and I also noticed the annoying flickering I used to have is gone now.
