T56 behind a 3800?

Like the title says, been googling for over an hour now and can't find anything helpful.
Anybody have any information on bolting a t56 behind one of these motors?

only way is to spend about 1200 bux not including the tranny for conversion bellhousings and custom made clutch/slave etc. IMO not worth the hassle. would rather stick a TKO behind it for about half the cost total youll be happier.

After pricing up what 4th gen t5's sell for in the yards I may just run one of them if I go through with this. At around $300 a pop I can afford to scatter a few lol.

they usaly do ok with the low torque the 3.8 puts out you can make almost as much horse power you want as long as the torque dont get to them and you dont hook up real hard

Well, I think I have it figured out. Someone else I know turned me on to an adapter plate that allows you to use a t5 bellhoising. Yay!
The more I'm looking into this the more I think I'm doing it...

T5 bellhousing on a T56? how about a clutch for the right input shaft as well as the input shaft it self already being short? will it reach properly? id have to see this setup installed.

You need an ls1 style input shaft cause they're longer along with a pilot bushings extension that the same company already sells. Then just use the factory t5 hydraulics and clutch assembly. All you need is a disk with the right splines for the t56 input shaft.
After I was pointed in that direction I was told of a couple cars in the area that have been succesfully running this setup for a few seasons now. One of which is a big block s10 pickup that runs 11's so I know the setup works lol.

He originally told me a bellhousing out of a 2.8 s10 so maybe those are shorter? Either way it all seems plausible.

2.8 and 3.8 bellhousings are different. hows that fit? the 3.4 is the same as the 2.8.
