That nose is one of the two noses I'm not a fan of for the birds. The other is the last few years on the third gen. But hey looks good though.

11:1 is fine with iron heads.. Ive done 12.4:1 on pump with dialing the timing back..

I wouldnt worry about it though one bit. Also if you really wanted to you could add some 100, no need for 110. Run like 32-34* timing and youre good IMO

I don't have direct experience but i know of plenty of guys running well over 12:1 sbc's on 93 pump gas without a problem

yeah the guy said he runs a 50/50 mix. just not sure where to even buy race fuel anymore, the sunoco in worcester on highland st sold 110 but they closed.

110 would be way too much. You can over octane a motor and it can hurt things. 100 octane max but you should be able to get away with the 93 providing the tune is done well. Theres no reason to run anything else. I used to run 93 on my 10.8:1 iron motor.

The closest place to get race gas is NE Dyno if I remember right.

im not even going to say my 2 cents cuz it always turns into a shit show. but all im going to say is for a street car and 93 octane. you do not want to run more then 10:1 on a Iron Head and thats pushing it.
