Happy day for me yesterday...I finally paid off the Bird, and early too.

I know, pathetic to be making payments on a ten year old car, but I bought it in Aug of '07, and took out a 4 year loan to pay it off. Payments were under 200/month.

Last payment would have been due in Oct of '11, but I just made it last night.

I'm happy, it's nice to finally outright own the damn thing and not be making payments.

Of course the money I'm going to be saving on the payment will now be going toward rent, I just got a new place in Newport (no roommate this time!), so I still won't be able to afford to mod it, LOL.

At least I'll have the title though!!

Congrats Mike! My monte was paid off in 87 and my cobalt will be paid off the end of this year.
