New from NH

Hey all!

I am a new guy with a 2001 Camaro SS located in the Concord NH area. I am going into my Junior year at Plymouth State for accounting. Being a college student I don't have much money to spend on my car, but I have fun with what I got.

Car has 129k on it, so it's getting up there but running good. Only mods are an SLP Loudmouth II catback and an SLP lid. The previous owner also dropped in quite the sound system, Boston Acoustics speakers, alpine deck, nice big amp and a 10" sub.

Been to the track only once a few weeks ago... only ran a 13.6@103 mph with a lousy 2.2 60'. Next time around I am going to drop the tire pressure, pull out my sub box+spare, and hopefully get my check engine light taken care of. Throwing a code for the rear o2 sensor on the driver's side right now

I am also a member on LS1Tech (Prediluted) and ls1lt1.com (94TransAmMan)

Lookin' forward to meeting all you guys, fun to meet some local car guys.

the o2 code means you need a tune.... or some sims. that will help the engine perform better and get you a better time...

he didnt say he had a full exhaust so it doesnt really "need" a tune... def get that fixed tho bad o2s can cause all kinds of issues u dont want lol. welcome aboard! post some pics of ur ride!

Yeah, I know I need to get it fixed, will def get me some better times! I figure a tenth or two from that alone.

I know a guy that said he would tune out my rear o2's to eliminate that problem for me for the price of the license, but he lives a good 2 hour drive away from me so our schedules have not aligned yet. Hopefully before the next time I get to the track though!

And some pics...

It's pretty good for the $5400 price tag I paid haha

Welcome!!! NICE RIDE!!! i wouldnt look to far into the rear o2 being bad. it has nothing to do with the air fuel mixture and it will just not alow you to pass inspection.

get it straightened out. but it cant hurt anything driving it like that.

we have a track day coming up in a few weeks(about to make a thread) HOPE TO SEE YOU THERE!
