Loudmouth 1....

So is the LM1 like stupid loud with stock cats/manifolds?

I just saw one for sale cheap, I was thinking of picking it up.

I know, it'll sound like ass with LT's. Well LT's are a long way off. I just want to do some sort of catback to wake up the sound of the car.

check out ls1sounds.com...im sure theres a clip on there....i dont think its too bad like u said without the full exhaust..if ur just stickin to the cat back and its cheap id say go for it

The LM1 is dumb loud no matter what. I had it on my Z pre headers and got 4 tickets for noise pollution.

You could always install a E-cutout

DemonWithin99 07-20-2010 05:49 PM

as long as you don't stomp on the gas alll the time like Navy does lm1 on stock manifolds w/cats sounds ok.

its louder than the average cat back put it that way.... its also an aquired "taste" as for the sound it puts out....some either love it or hate it...i get nothing but compliments and "holy shits!!!"

I just hate the rasp at 2100rpm.

Easy fix: Install Bullet Muffler in place of Resonator:happy:

Oh yeah and High flow Cats in a 3" Y-pipe:tard:

I've had mine on the car since 2000, and I did the Bullet Muffler after two weeks... Solves the Rasp, quiets the car down to only obnoxiously loud vs ridiculously loud.

And I've gotten ZERO Tickets in 10 years with it. And even just got pulled over in Bloomfield figuring the cop would give me a ticket for it... Nope said it wasn't that loud, but I was going to fast and needed to slow down:flex:...:tapfoot:

I rode in a car with stock exhaust and a Loudmouth, it drones inside the car. I would not want it on my car. It might be better with a bullet muffler if you're willing to add that after.

Had it, Hated it. Magnaflow all the way
