How to Tell what Stall Convertor I have?
 
My buddy was doing my starter today and he removed the Dust Shield on the tranny pan to make it easier to get out. He said there is a bright blue item in there which he believes is a stall convertor... How can we tell if it is...

i believe its just a stock replacement gm unit, ive seen plenty painted blue

Put foot on brqke then slowly apply gas till u feel the tires pushing at that rpm is your stall
