Th350 binding???? need ideas
 

So I picked up a nice built th350 from my buddy who had it gone through just before he sold it to me. Anyway I did the swap from a t56 and now I've got a strange problem. When the car is up on jack stands it engages all gears and the rear tires move. As soon as I put it on the ground and try engaging the gears its like the ebrake is on. The trans engages and the car torques up like it wants to move but doesn't.

The fluid is full. The only thing I can think of is the driveshaft. I have a long tailshaft th350 and reused my driveshaft except the yoke. I put one on about 1 inch longer because mine seemed to be a little short.

check the ebrake! :-P

but in all seriousness i have nothing useful to add. Hope ya get it figured out

Does the trans have a tbrake?

That was my first thought, but its fine in the air, Pinion angles ok?

PROBLEM FOUND..... MY FUCKING LINE LOCK WAS STUCK. HAHAHA. ALL FIXED.

Not bad but I still need to adj the shifter cable some more. Plus the damn driverside 02 is riight in the way of the linkage on the tranny so I might need to do some work on that. And I need to have my buddy adj the IAC cause the car doesn't like to idle that well now.

What kind of shifter did you use. Do you feel a big difference from a m6 to auto.
