Anyone identify an SS hood??

So I found this SS hood on craigslist in my town. It was advertised as a carbon fiber (its really fiberglass) ss hood. I asked what kind he doesn't know it came with the car he said shoot me an offer. Sounds like he doesn't know much... Heres the pics he sent me anyone know any info??

the pictures don't look bad. i don't remember what the underside of my hood looks like to compare with. youll need to look at it in person witch shouldnt be to hard for you because its local. the only thing is the fit. i dont know if theres a way to take any measurements to see what youll have for gaps all round the fenders and nose. what is he asking for it.

the next thing you need to get now is the ss emblems. witch you still can get from gm by useing the 02 year. there a little pricey but i wanted factory for my car from my last summer misshape lol.

the way i look at it putting on the ss hood is one thing putting all the gear on then the emblems is a bit much. sort of like a chick that has had alot of makup done just isnt the same as the real thing.

Hard to tell with aftermarket as they take an original off the car make a negative mold and recast new parts from it. Problem with that is quality control. How well they apply the 2 halfs thickness of the fiberglass etc. One kind of good way to tell is the slp hoods were almost as heavy as stock steel hoods. Had to be for crash regulations. See if it weighs a ton. If not is aftermarket.
