changing out the interior...
 

So something else that I wanted to start thinking about with my car is the interior... I want to do leather seats for the front, and for the rear I was planning on removing the seats and building a box for my subs and an amp rack. (this is eventually so i don't care if the seats don't match colors/fabrics as of yet is what I'm getting at)

As far as the interior has any one done something like this? Would it be more cost effective to look for seats or to have them rewrapped?

I think katzkin use to make nice covers. It's getting hard to find mint seats. To me I would just get aftermarket seats for the front and either get rears or leave them out.

yeah i agree. the ones you find Way over priced compared to a new set of a Decent "racing" seat.

there are quite a few companies that sell nice covers do a search on google and u can usually get custom ones too which are pretty cool

I know what you guys are saying about the covers vs the actual seats. I know it would be hard to find good seats in a good condition. I'll do my best to find seats but if I can't then I guess I'll have no choice but t go with the covers.

I just did mine over. Found a one girl shop down in FL. She did all seven pieces in what looks, smells and feels like leather (it's not) for $500.00. One hell of a deal if you ask me. I will post a link if allowed (I have no conection to her other than a happy client).
