lt1 ram air box

So in my quest for ideas on my car i looked for the ls1 ram air box on the internet but I can't find anything. I saw someones with a clear lid on it the other day(its a she and she's on this website... hint hint maddie) and I think that it makes the bay look awesome with the box in general...

anyone lt1's on here have one or know anything about em?

The LT1 SS uses a different air intake setup than LS1s or non SS LT1s, there is a curved tube that meets the bottom of the hood under the scoop and routes the air to the intake elbow. LS1 SS's have passages in the hood that feed the air to the front so it can still use the stock lid setup.

Yeah if you have a regular LT1 CAI you are getting just as much benefit from that as you would from this, maybe more even.

None taken, if I had a cowl hood or spend some more time thinking I prob could have made it fit under the stock hood, my hood was junk anywho so I said screw it, not recommended on nice cars lol
