North East F-Body Association - Over weight, under powered LS got #2 in points

Final race was saturday. Weather was good with 0 to 600' DA. A lot of big racers showed up including the fastest X275 car in the country.

We did crappy with some wrong settings in qualifying which was making little boost at launch and 1.4 60' times.
1rd round we got most of the launch back but lost at the light with a .114 reaction to a .035 and ran a slower paced 5.333. Thats what we get for swapping converters and making no passes.

Ended number 2 in points for the season. Mostly from being at every race a, going rounds and qualifying in the top 4.

Not bad for a car 380lbs over weight and definitely under powered to the Mustangs in the class. I bet some make 400-600 more hp and weigh 3000lbs.

So, motor is coming out for a rebuild this winter and we'll upgrade some stuff to kick us up another 2-300 hp. Also hoping to drop at least another 150-200lbs out of the car.
