Anybody tune LT1's in NE?

We stopped years ago and still get a lot of calls for tuning them. Would love to give a shop name to them so they can deal with it.

My friend had someone tune his lt1, ill ask next time i see him

My suggestion is to go with an EFI Connection LS1 ECU Conversion

It's some $$ - but if you get enough calls and folks willing to pay - you could do the conversion in house and then tuning as well. Now that would rock!!!

Otherwise most LT1 guys now go with PCMForLess.com and a mail order tune or they are in NC if folks want to drive.

Most lt guys won't pay for it. I know all the options, we know how to tune lt1's. Just don't want to.
From what I gather there is no tuners in New England that will touch lt's.
I could of sent plenty of people to them.

Are LT1s that bad that you wouldn't tune them? Your market wouldn't be as broad obviously but if you're the only tuner in NE for them I can't see how that would be bad for business. Just my .02 cents

Lol, I wish I knew more about tuning.....

due to the software and time it takes, the amount we would have to charge would be double the LS tuning costs. Most people do not want to pay 1000-1400 to tune a car.
Then what we find is a lot of cars need mechanical work so they can be tuned.

It's just not a market we want to get back in to. Since we are very busy with projects we like, it's just not worth it for us to try to take on more.

That makes sense then. I wouldn't want to pay a grand for a tune either lol

I think Jannetty Racing in CT will still tune LT1s, I know they have in the past.
