Spikes Ride For Sandy Hook Charity Car Cruise May 3rd!!!

George "Spike" is at it again and planning to top last years showing of over 2500 Participants & 4000 Spectators! For those that didnt attend last year this is an AWESOME cruise for a great cause! Groups from all over New England convoyed to Lime Rock Race Park to show their cars, watch live road racing & drifting All while raising over $26,000 for the victims families & survivors of this horrific tragedy. The main event page on facebook is located here: https://www.facebook.com/events/103780373126870/

I am the crew leader for the New Hampshire group that will meet at a to be determined location in southern NH and convoy down 495 south where we will meet up with George's group on the mass pike. From there we will all cruise together to Lime Rock Race Park. Anyone from or close to New Hampshire is invited and encouraged to meet with us. I am working on nailing down a location for everyone to meet at that will be convenient and close to rt93. The Facebook event page for my group is here: https://www.facebook.com/events/461236380665791/

Where's the meeting point for people in MA? I saw something about it being in Raynham but I'm not sure

Comment deleted because he got butthurt by what I posted.

I don't care about George or his charity stuff. I just wanted to let you people know about what I heard.
You can tell him about this Joe. I know he heard about this post from you. That is all. No, I'm not mad at you.

We need to fact check that. If that's true pretty easy decision but I have a hard time believing that. I really wanted to go last year and said I would go next, but there are 13 second mustangs to kill so. War is calling my name.

I would very much like to hear from anyone that can substantiate that.

Sometimes stuff gets misinterpreted along the way. There have been problems caused by two union officers not related to this charity, see here: http://www.newstimes.com/policereports/article/Newtown-police-union-head-suing-police-chief-4895421.php

Maybe this caused confusion and rumors to start flying. For any specific charity, I really have no idea.

edit: the article is referring to problems before the Sandy Hook tragedy though.
