2014 Ridler Award
The Ridler award is for the top award every year for the best custom car.
A lot of guys go across the US competing at shows like the Boston World of Wheels and hope to do well at the Ridler. This year it was won by a 1964 Buick Riviera. One thing that is nice this year is that most years, a Ford car usually wins. What do you guys think of this car? http://autorama.com/wp-content/uploa...er_Story_2.jpg http://autorama.com/wp-content/uploa...er_Story_3.jpg http://autorama.com/wp-content/uploa...er_Story_8.jpg http://autorama.com/wp-content/uploa...er_Story_9.jpg http://autorama.com/wp-content/uploa...r_Story_11.jpg http://autorama.com/wp-content/uploa...r_Story_12.jpg http://autorama.com/wp-content/uploa...r_Story_13.jpg http://autorama.com/wp-content/uploa...r_Story_14.jpg http://autorama.com/wp-content/uploa...r_Story_15.jpg |
That car is beautiful, should have won, simply Wow!

Not a fan of the style personally but it is a nice car. Surely built to be a show piece.

I have to agree, I know it's flawless and it deserved to win, but show cars are like art pieces, most people just don't get it but the artist.
I was freaked out sitting in the yenko, I don't think I'd be able to open the door with out worries on that car. Lol |

This Buick is very unique though and is definitely a show car. |
Car looks great but i wouldn't spend much time looking at it. Its a bit much when every single piece of a car is modified like that. I don't like the rims i don't like how low it is, i don't like the panels under neath, looks chopped to me which i don't like. Every piece is modified. Just not my taste. I know the award is for best custom car so that's what needs to be done and this definitely fits the theme. I like how its not a mustang or a gto. Something different.
