As I said, if it was not for someone else's advise, I would have gone a different direction. The best advise I can give you is hear others opinions but listen to your heart 50% of the time, your head 40% and leave the other 10% to chance. Take what they say, heed the warnings and incorporate opening doors and ideas into your path. Others have come before you and want to protect you against duplicating mistakes, others do not want you to succeed simple because they are restrictive, jealous or scared. Most of the damaging pressures that create lack of change are by close friends or loved ones that do not know a path themselves or are unaware they are subliminally creating these road blocks. For me it was my Mother, loved her then and love her today. But she only know one way of life and that is what she tried to instill in me. Unfortunately that was a life of poverty. I did not take the road less traveled, I blazed my own trail and boy am I glad I did.
Set those goals, learn from others experiences and learn the difference between constructive and destructive criticism. Be true to yourself, remember it is better to be disliked for who you are, than to be liked for who your not.
