Mike did paint the intake and you're right that the judges definitely won't like it painted. Mike tried painting it to make it look better since there is some discoloration and pitting, but I think we're going to have to find a better solution.

The only good thing is that the car will be in the BowTie class. All first year entries have to go into the Bowtie class unless a Legends judge already knows the car. With the BowTie class, the judging is much more relaxed.
