Ouch. I've had those years too. One season I went through 3 motors in my 68, one of which was a fresh rebuild that locked up solid in under a minute of run time. Needless to say I learned to build my own motors after that
Don't sell it, you'll kick yourself later. You own it outright and have a garage. Put it away and cool off for a season. Make a game plan and hit it hard next winter. That's always seemed to work for me over the years every time I get fed up with my 68.
You got the wife's car to tool around it. Buff it up and have fun. Worst case "borrow" the nitrous out of yours
