Work is progressing. The 2nd owner's son stopped by today after visiting his sister who lives in Simsbury CT.
For a while now, I've known a lot about the 2nd owner. He owns an insurance company in Florida now. He used to own a law firm that was in one of the twin towers on 9/11. He told all his employees to get out and right when they exited they saw the 2nd plane hit.
His son was super nice and he stopped by with his wife (or girlfriend). His son is a drummer, guitarist and sound engineer that lives in NYC. He mentioned wanting to buy the place a few times, but I told him that it's not for sale.
On the old barn, the majority of the roof is stripped:
and the 2nd floor that was caving in is in better shape with some beefing up on the beams:
and the rustmobile that I got for free (since it was heading to the dump) with a plow, actually started up for the 2nd time today. I'm not going to register it and I'm only going to use it only for plowing.
